Binxnut
The Binx Nut is an all metal prevailing torque type self-locking nut. The locking action is provided by two slots cut into the side of the nut which locally changes the pitch.
The Binx Nut's locking mechanism acts on both the effective diameter and the pitch of the thread, countering the threat posed by vibration or stress.
One advantage of the Binx nut is that its height is no greater than a standard nut so that it can be used in confined spaces.
The Binx nut is all-metal and can be confidently used in environments containing oil, grease etc.
